A recent benchmarking review of primary care support services (or Family Health Services (FHS) functions) provided by Anglia Support Partnership (ASP) to five PCTs in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk, confirms that ASP is one of the most efficient providers of these services in the country.

A recent report commissioned by the Department of Health and published by the Foundation Trust Network calls for a major overhaul of NHS back-office functions, including a move for all NHS bodies to share back-office functions with other NHS bodies.
