Services we provide - Business Support

Business Support covers a host of services so we have listed a quick-reference guide in alphabetical order for you to look through. Child Care | this knowledgeable team helps staff to find information on child care providers in their local area, including those who offer NHS staff discounts. They also offer child care related financial assistance covering the child care vouchers scheme and tax credits.

Clinical Systems Support / Information Teams | community clinicians use electronic devices linked to patients’ GP records to record clinical information and appointments. The clinical systems teams support these community staff using SystmOne and iPM PAS - both National Programme for IT (NPfIT) products. The Information Team provides a comprehensive reporting service to and on behalf of our clients, including statutory reports to the Department of Health and the Strategic Health Authority.

Data Warehousing | the team is responsible for processing and storing data held on our Data Warehouse (a computer storage area). The data is used as the source information for analytical work for clients. Clients also have access to QueBEC, a self-service web-based reporting application. QueBEC is used to deliver budget statements, practice-based commissioning, payment by results and public health information.

Financial Systems | the team maintains and develops the finance system it provides for clients. It also provides a helpdesk facility, processes external interface files, delivers report writing and training.

Information Governance | knowledgeable staff support clients in meeting Information Governance standards as well as general medico-legal support, including Data Protection and Access to Medical Records. Media and Systems | the specialist team offers creative design, content management, web-based applications and database-driven websites, as well as offering bespoke web applications. The team also provides an award-winning creative video and podcasting production service - from script to screen. They provide innovative ideas and can script, film, edit and duplicate productions.

Occupational Health | our mobile Occupational Health (OH) team visits client premises to deliver high-quality competent OH services. Risk Information | the team manages incident and risk assessment data for clients. They input and check over 15,000 incidents-a-year, assist managers in investigation and external reporting. As well as alerting our clients’ specialist teams to any incidents that need their attention, they provide regular formal reports to clients on trends and action required to reduce risk. Risk Projects | the team supports clients in co-ordinating projects and self-assessment against NHS assurance activities, including Standards for Better Health and the NHS Litigation Authority Risk Management Standards. Safety | with their expert knowledge and NHS background, the safety team provides clients with competent advisers and trainers to meet legal requirements in fire, safety, manual handling and security management. Workforce Information | the team delivers analysis and interpretation of workforce information enabling clients to meet local, regional and national requirements. The team produces reports on diversity, as well as all aspects of workforce information, including employee numbers and absence figures. They validate employee information, provide analysis of key performance indicators and liaise with external bodies on behalf of clients.
