e-invoicing solution launched

Our Financial Services team implemented an e-invoicing solution in July, in partnership with Tradeshift, that will create efficiency savings that can be passed back to our NHS Partners, releasing funds for frontline care.

The Tradeshift solution integrates with our Finance System, Integra, and eliminates the need for suppliers to send paper invoices which whilst reducing the carbon footprint also brings efficiency benefits which include; early receipt of invoices and improved input quality. The solution will be rolled out in a phased approach with a long term goal of over 70% of all invoices sent via e-invoicing.

With the new e-invoicing solution complementing the existing Integra Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, Alison Balcombe (ASP’s Business Development Manager) said "future efficiency savings will be released with the majority of invoices being processed via e-invoicing or using the OCR technology cutting out the need for manual input. The system will enable ASP to drive down transactional costs which is key in an increasingly competitive market".

Our Corporate Director, Nick Wood, will be talking about our experience of e-invoicing at a webinar hosted by Tradeshift. The Webinar will take place on Tuesday 6 September and will focus on how to achieve 100% electronic invoicing.

Seminar

On Tuesday 4 October we will be jointly hosting a seminar with Tradeshift at the Healthcare Efficiency Through Technology Expo at Olympia. The seminar will demonstrate the efficiencies of Shared Service as well as promoting e-invoicing through the Tradeshift model.
